DEMPSEY'S OPPONENT.
CBAIXERGEB'S MEASUREMENT EXPERTS GIVE HIM NO CHANCE (Received 2 p.m.) BENTON HARBOUR, August 29. Billie Miske's measurements are: Height 73in, reach 77in, chest normal 30in, chest expanded 44in, neck 17 Jin, shoulders 20* in across, waist 33in, biceps loiin, forearm 13Jin, wrist 7}in, thigh 22Jin, calf 15Jin, ankle 9in; age 26. Generally Miske is slightly bigger than Dempsey. Both fighters plan to continue hard training and work up to the day before the fight. Dempsey declares that Miske is a dangerous rival, and he does not intend to be caught unprepared. Dempsey is working unusually bard in order to regain the form which won him the championship. Boxing experts do not consider Miske a serious contender, pointing out that Dempsey beat him twice before. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
