SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
YOTTNG WOMAN INJURED BY DISCHARGE FROM HER BROTHER'S RIFLE. (By Telegraph.— Own 'Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. When returning from an aftcrnoon'B shooting on Sunday, a young man named Norman Fletcher was cleaning an automatic pea rifle, when he must have accidentally touched the trigger Tlie rifle being loaded, exploded, and the bullet hit Fletchers -sister, Hilda Fletcher, in the abdomen. Constable Cleary applied first aid, then called two doctors, who operated at the house, and then ordered the patient to Hamilton Hospital, where an operation was performed last night. The patient passed a good night, and the doctors are sanguine about her recovery.
