IN FONfcONBY DISTRICT. A SUBSTANTIAL GRANT. Talograph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) VTELLIMJTON this day. CaJbinet has approved of a substantial grant for the erection of a new primary school in Curran Street to relieve the Bayfield, Ponsonby and Richmond Road schools.
The Education Board state that the new school is to be erected in brick with accommodation for some 600 children. It will consist of two buildings, an infant school and a main school •building.
