RUGBY. MANIAI'OTO RUGBY UN"I 0"*. A meeting of ihe Manlapoto Rugby Union was held at. Te Kultl yesterday lo consider 11 siatement in tbe report of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby I 111011. The report slated that a letter had been received from Ihe King Country Union lo the effect that action was being taken lo form a large union embracing a number of tbe Rugby unions on the Main Trunkline, including Maniapoto. The chairman. Mr. 11. A. Wilson, said Ibat as far as tbe Manlapoto Rugby Culon was concerned it had no kuowledge of the proposal mentioned by tbe Klug Country Union. A resolution was passed affirming tbe Manlapoto's Union's satisfaction with existing conditions. It was decided to communicate with the Auckland Rugby Union ou the matter. INTER-COLLEGIATE TOURNEY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCIIT'RCIi, Friday. The final of the inter-collegiate matches was played to-day, when Wanganui College defeated Christ's College by 17 points to S. The play was very ragged throughout. Wanganui played much better than in their same against Wellington, particularly their backs, while Chrlst'H College gave a very indifferent exhibition.
