A fall from a ladder resulted in Mr. Joseph Smith, of Turner Street, having to be sent to the Auckland Hospital last night. It was found that he had sustained injuries to his head and dislocated his right shoulder. At the Opera House on Sunday evening Mr. E. J. Howard, M.P., will speak on "My Impressions of Parliament." There will also be a short musical programme from 7.30 to S p.m. A meeting for children will he held in tho Opera House on Sunday afternoon, when Mr. Howard will give a lantern lecture entitled 'The Cruise of the Mokoia."
