MORE TROUBLE BREWING, j STOP WORK MEETINGS. TO DECIDE (FUTURE ACTION. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) WBSTBORT, Thursday. * The State Miners' -Union met at Runanga t-night to consider the disputes existing at the Taratu, Green Island, and Matatura mines. The meeting expressed regret that the Government did not bring pressure to bear on the coalmine owners at the respective placc-s, to have them "adhere to last February's na-tionaj agreement, as the Miners' Federation executive Aas endeavoured to persuade them to do." It was decided that on Monday at 10 a.m. a stop-work meeting- -of the union be held to discuss what future action, should be taken. It is understood that all the other coalminers' unions m the ■Dominion will do likewise.
