"LET THEM HAVE IT."

(formerly Unionist M.P. for Fermanagh), in a letter to the "Irish Times," says: "Let all Ireland that is demanding it hr-.ve the fullest measure of independence, and call it what they like, Ulster remaining part of Great Britain, though it would soon seek reunion with the rest. "There would be no real danger to the Empire; certainly none to be compared with the present position. Once there is peace in Ireland we shall see the best interests served by a union of hearts. "Shall we stand by during a civil war, in the vain hope of restoring a system which after 120 years has proved a disastrous failure:"*
