AVON ROAD BOARD.
The Avondale Road Board met on Wednesday, night, Mr. O. jr. Hosking presiding The following matters were referred to committees-Flooding In wharf Roadj request from S. An engineer's report on the proportion was to the effect that the property would prove of great advantage to the district, as the quality was firet-claea. It was resolved to hold a special meeting next Monday to deal with the question to rive an opportunity to members who'had not viewed the property to do so It was agreed that legal powers be obtained ?o enable the Board to sell a quarry owned by it situated in Richardson Road, the reieon being that the stone therein is useless for tie Board's purposes. Mr. ?.
