The " Sunday Times" asserts that indirect negotiations are proceeding between the Government and the Sinn Fein, the Government endeavouring to ascertain the minimum terms of settlement demanded by the Sinn Fein. The Catholic Chitrch desires settlement, being alarmed at 11 c growth of Bolshevik sentiments amonjj tlie Labour section of the Sinn Fein.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
The military authorities in Deblin are unloading the boycotted cargoes of munitions. It is expected that the transport workers will extend the boycott when the authorities order a distribution of the munitions throughout the country.
The English railwaymen's national executive is inviting the Triple Alliance to consider active intervention in the Irish situation.— ("Times.")
