The influenza returns for the week-end period commencing at noon on Saturday and ending at a like hour to-day show that 131 cases of a mild nature and seven severe cases -were notified to the district health officer. The return is comprised as follows:—City, 13 mild and 1 severe; suburbs, 28 mild and 3 severe; conntry districts, 21 mild; Whitianga, i mild; Huntly, 1 mild; Te Kuiti, 2 mild; Te Aroha, 18 mild and 2 severe; Thames Borough, 11 mild; Thames County, 9 mild; Paeroa, 9 mild; Te Puki, 8 mild; Whakatane, 1 mild and 1 severe.
