HAMILTON ELECTION.
A KEEK CONTEST. (By Tcleffraiiu.— Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Polling for the election of six councillors is proceeding with zest today, and indications point to a record poll. Interest in a borough election has never been so keen previously, for, in addition to two tickets (ono oamprieing five councillors and an ex-mayor who resigned over electricity proposal?, and tho other four former councillor*), there are also nino independent candidates. The members of both tickets have been addressing largo meetings during the .past week, and very healthy interest is shown by the public.
