Hiwas remanded at the Onphunjra Court this morning for one wcel; on vie charge. 1 The Conciliation Council was 0.-cupied I to-day with a dispute filed before Mr. P. Hally, Commissioner, by the El«-tri<-al Workers' Union. The assessors for tho employers were J. C'rosher. S. F. Kemp, and Segar (Turn-bull and Jones), with ; Mr. S. E. Wright as advocate. For the union the assessors were M«v««rs. .f. Hartncll, K. C. Robinson, and A. Talbot. with H. L. Hurnlng as advocate. At the 1 p.m. adjournment agreement lrad been arrived at in a number of clauses, and it is deemed likely that a full settlement will- in due course bp reached.
