BEDOUIN ATROCITIES.

MERCIZ.ESS SLAUGHTIiK. CAIRO, May 17. The following is a typical story of native outrages in Syria. A Bedouin tribe attacked three Christian villages in Upper Galilee because they had not paid some money demanded. The Bedouins looted and burned dwellings, churches, and a monastery, and mercilessly slaughtered the villagers. The method they most favoured was to tie a coat over the head of their victim, whom they would drench with petrol and set on fire. Nine women were killed in one house. — (Ecuter.) •
