CATTLE PAVILION.
FOR EPSOM SHOWGROUND. A. AND P.A. CONSIDERATION. A very important meeting of the executive of the Auckland A. and P. Association is being held this afternoon. The business before the meeting is to consider the action of.the Railway Department in taking under the Public 'Works' Act 1 rood 24 perches of the Association's Otahuhu Show. Ground for the purposes of a siding, and to decide what amount ehall be claimed by way of compensation; to deal with the tenders for tbe lease of the Otahuhu Show Grounds, and to consider the question of erecting a cattle pavilion. on the Association's Epsom grounds. It is proposed in this connection that the pavilion shall be on a smaller scale to the Manawatu A. and P. Association's cattle pavilion at the Palmerston North ground, which covers an area of approximately two acres. The cost is estimated at £4,000.
