■ A CHINAMAN SHOT. (Special to "Star.") SUVA (Fiji), April 26. News arrived here on Friday that on Monday a native named Eroni «i Sloce had fatally ehot a Chinaman baker attached to a Chinese store at Lakelia, the largest island of the Lav Group, on Mon&y. It ie reported that the Fijian was refused bread after bourn, and after angrily crying out that the King would not allow euch an injustice shot the Chinaman named Arthur w Sin Sing) in the stomach.
