THE MILITARY ANNEXE.

The Board sent a deputation to the Mayor (Hγ. J. H. Gunson) yesterday afternoon to prefer this request, and the City Council last evening gave the necessary authority. The Mayor explained "that the period during which the military authorities were to have control of the building continued for another twenty months vet, so the Board was authorised to make arrangements with the military authorities to use the building.
