TO RESUME IMMEDIATELY. SUBJECT TO LOCO KEN AGREEING. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star."} WELLINGTON, this day. The. Prime Minister informs mc that the Amalgamated Society has agreed to an arrangement under which work on the railways will be resumed immediately, and ho anticipated within a short time completing an understanding with the Locomotive men, who were at that moment discussing a point of interpretation with the Attorney-General. The Premier declined at this stage to indicate the actual method of settlement, but he added: "You can say this, that, though it ends the strike, it docs not end grievances of the railwaymen." Mr. Massey la liopeful of resumption of traffic in time to enable the Prince of Wales to visit those inland towns which it was proposed under tho strike conditions to exclude from the itinerary.
