The White Star liner Baltic has arrived at Liverpool. She reports that ivh«n in mid-Atlantic, during sl jjale, she received a wireless summons from the steamer William O'Brien reporting that the hatch covers had gone and the vessel was making water rapidly. The }!altic immediately steamed to her assistance. The wireless messages became undecipherable, except the word "sinking," repeated several times. Other vessels also searched the spot, hut no trace of the vessel or her crew c-ould be found.—(A. and X.Z. Cable.)
