COUNSEL'S VEILED CHARGE. LONDON", 26. .The inquest on Mr. llacCurtain, ■ the Sinn Fein Lord Mayor of Cork, who was I murdered on Saturday last, was resumed !at 7.30 o'clock last night. Forty conj stables, armed with rides, guarded the Court. Sinn Fein volunteers had charge of the arrangements, and regulated admission to the inquest chamber. The frown Solicitor applied for an adjournment, paying that the authorities desired to assist to the utmost in elucidating the murder, but the constabulary could not guarantee the peace of the city if the inquiry was held at oight timeMr. Patrick Lynch, K.C., representing ! the next-of-kin, invited the jury tc ; attach great importance to the fact thai - a policeman's uniform button was found in llr. llacCurtain'e house.
