House of Representatives and the Senate concerning the form of the Peace resolution, likely to delay th« enactment of such a measure for many weeks. Some Senators are of opinion that there must be a direct repeal of the war declaration itself, as well as a repeal of the extraordinary war powers conferred upon the Government. — (A. and X.Z.
