FOOTBALL.
NORTHERN UNION. The annual meeting of the North Shore Albion Football Club will be held at Devonport on Thursday. The annual report and •balance-stoeet show the club to have done remarkably well compared with other years. This year promises exceptionally well for the club. The annual meeting of the City Rovers .Football Club was held at the League Rooms. Swanson Street, last week end, there being a record attendance of members present. The balance-sheet and report were adopted, the credit balance being £24 6/11, with assets amounting to £31 "2/. Five teams took part in tbe competitions—First, second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. The fourth and fifth grades won their respective championships, Whilst the second and sixth grades were runne'rsup. The following members were chosen to tour Australia with the New Zealand team: Messrs. W. Davidson, ,T. Rukutal. I. ■Stewart. H. Laing. and T. Haddon. The latter member was unfortunate, for circumstances did not permit him to make the trip. The following officers were elected for the enstilng year:—'President. Mr. E. Pace- vice-presidents, same as last year, with the Inclusion of Messrs. T. McKeown. S. Garland. W. Dougherty, and A. Cottlnghnm: delegate to A.8.L.. "Mr. R. "W. Pollock; delegate to J.A.R.. Mr. W. J. Davidson: auditor. Mr. E. Phelan; secretary and treasurer. Mt. E. Asher; asslstant-secre-tnry. Mr. G. .Stephens: committee. Messrs. .T. Hoaan. F. Kennedy. G. Reid. H. Lalng, .T. Maxwell. S. Postlewalght. D. Kenny. J. Sm.-irdon. F. Phelan. T. ■Chermslde. .T. Dticgnn, C. Mitchell. H. Hibbs, and D. McDonald.
