TEMPORARY SOLDIERS' CLUB
The V.M.C.A. building in WelJeslcy Street East, which has been used since IS'lli as a Soldiers - Club, was vacated this morning, and the club has been transferred temporarily to the old Y.W.C.A., on the opposite side of the road. The furnishings and fittings of the club have been taken across, and the I best arrangements have been made for the accommodation of the men ivho inp the club. Meals will be served a~ formerly, and in addition snmo thirty bod* have been provided on the top fi.M,r to meet urgent residential needs. The new club premises in Albert Street are beiny altered, but the work is tint expected to be completed until June next.
