MONS VETERAN MURDERED.
AN AUSTRALIAN ARRESTED. LONDON, February 15. | An Australian soldier named Albert' James Eraser was arrested at Belfast' with another man and two women, and] charged with murdering Henry Senior, al Mons veteran, who was discovered,' robbed, and mutilated, in the Queen's Park Recreation Ground at Glasgow on ' January 4. Senior's trouser pocket was cut away, and his boots were mi?sing. ; ' A tram conductor said he notVcd two young men with their hanU blood-' ' stained and their pockets bulging, he be- ' licved, with the dead man's boots. In- ' e-niries showed that one was Fraser, and 1 the other an Irishman names James ' -Slain, who were associating with two young girls. All four fled to Ireland. ' Fraser and a companion hid in a cave ' at the foot erf a cliff at a lonely spot ' four miles from Belfast. They slept in a neighbouring haystack. The girls, both |of whom are about 20 years of age,; * lodged in Belfast. Detectives pounced; ' upon Fraser and his companion when they emerged from the cave on Sunday i ' to join the girls. Senior's overcoat andj ' boots were discovered In a pawnshop. I A crowd booed and hissed Fraser and; the other ae-cnsed on their arrival atj Glasgow. To-day they were formally charged with murdering Senior, and remanded.
