THE FtrTTTRE OF PALESTINE. FIRST CONFERENCE SINCE WAR (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, February 15. The first conference of the iExecutive Council of the Zionist organisation since the war has opened. Nearly every country in the world is represented. Dr. (Weitzmann said that the question of the establishment of a Jewish national home wouM be shortly discussed by the (Peace Conference. He had been assured that the settlement would satisfy the Zionist claims, namely, the allocation ol Palestine to remain under a mandate to maintain and develop Into a Jewish national home. Palestine was at preeenl esconomically stagnant owing to the delay in eiisposing of the Turkish Peace Treaty.—.(Re-'ter.)
