SALE OF BAXTER'S BUSH. The sale of a well known beauty spot and popular picnic resort will take place at the rooms of Samuel Vaile and Sons, Ltd., 83, Queen Street, at 2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday), when Baxter's Bush, Henderson Valley, will be offered for sale in sections of from 5J to 12} acres. Each section is partly in grass and partly in beautiful native bush. On the homestead section there is a house of 5 rooms and outbuildings. A house of 5 rooms in Winchester Street, Point Chevalier, will also be sold under instructions from the first mortgagee.—(Ad.)
During the past fortnight a ballot lias been in progress for the purpose of electing a secretary to the Auckland branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants. The 'ballot closed last evening, and resulted in the return of Mh C. Paweon by a majority of 56 votes. The united testimony of thousands of men and women proves the value of using "Nazol" day and night as a preventive against influenza.—(Ad.)
