The following are tne results of the day's play:— Champion Doubles.—-First Round, Section A: Mrs. Peck and Holmes beat the Mesdames Dillleur; Mesdames Squlrrell aud Warln beat Mesdames ltlgg and Carter; Mesdames Clarksqn and {tollman beat Miss Murray and Kusabs. Section B: Mrs. Rhodes Williams and I'enn beat Mesdames Wilson and d'erry; jiesdames 'Coutts and Fearnlcy -beat Mesdames Coembes and Jorby; Mrs. Worthlngton and McDowell beat Mesdames Crowe and 'Hazard: Mrs. Hill and Miller beat Mesdames Lowe and Vause.
