LOST IN MID-ATLANTIC.
BRITISH STEAMER TOUNDERS. 25 SAVED, 6 RESCUERS PERISH. (Received 1.15 p.m.) HALIFAX (Xova Scotia), Feb. 9. The steamer Oxonian sent out a wireless message stating that she had picked up t'i members of the crew of the British steamer Bradboyne, which is believed to have foundered' in mid-Atlantic. The Jloninouth also wirelessed that she picked up two of the Bradboyne's crew. The second o/licer and five of the crew of the Oxonian were drowned while rescuing, the Bradbovne's crew. —(A. and N.Z.
