Waters, acting-officer in charge [of the Biological iLaboratory at Wcraroa, has reported on diseased wheat specimens submitted to him from North Canterbury, and expresses the opinion that the disease is due to fungus, but in ■ order to positively identify the disease he intends to make an immediate survey of the affected areas.
