The Ponsonby Boys' Brass Band, under the charge of Mr. "Tom Vivian, arrived at Tauranga this rooming to spend ten days' holiday. The boys, who have been billeted, will give a concert to-morrow night, and a sacred concert Sunday afternoon. After a long illness in England, Lieut. S. H. G. McLnreen, ILN.ViR., is returning to Auckland by the transport Bremen. He has had four years' eervice.
