LOCAL BOUNDARIES DETAILED. DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES. The new elealorate of Roskill comprises the Kdendalo and Dominion Road districts, the Mount Eden district -outi. wi the mountain, the Epsom district joirtli of Owen's Jtoa.l and west of Manuka v Road, and tlu> .Mount R Qi kill ana Hi Isborouo-;, districts. I- takce EdenUiUe, Dominion Road, and the western! halt of Mount Edon from the old Eden electorate, and the rest from the 'old -Uanukui! electorate. •Eden, in compensation for the loss of a populous suburban area, gains a lot oi country territory, and now embraces almost the. whole area between the Kaikoura and Manukau Harbours, being 'bounded by the coastline from Helens-' ville to Avondale South. Grey Lynn loses two small areas, one between Rose Road and Richmond Road, and another bounded partly by Western Springs Road and School" Road, Morningeide. By way of compensation it gains the Mount Eden domain and some i ground adjoining. ; Auckland West gains a sma n areu trom Orey Lynn. i Auckland Central gains a fair area at its upper end, and now extends as far as New North Road, Eden Terrace. This it at the expense of Auckland Eaet. Auckland East, to compensate for this loss, is extended considerably eastward. The old line ran down the east side of Cemetery Gully, 'aking in draft on Road, and Stanley Street, to the sea. I The new line takes in almost the whole of aserwnrarjeet and follows an erratic course through Parnell, finishing up at George's Bay and Stanley Point Parnell gains an area extending br tween the One Tree Hill domain ami Manukau Road, nearly as far as the Royal Oak, and taking in Mount .St John, Alexandra Park, and part of Cornwall Park. It also gains the whole ol Tamaki West and the village of Panmure. Manukau loses Mount Roskill, the Epsom area gained by Parnell, Tamaki West, and Panmure, but game country territory to make up. I From Motion's Creek by foreshore to' point near Riverhead: thence across country to railway Hue at Kumeu, and along railway line a short distance; thence northwards five milee, westward ' tour miles to Kaipara River, at point. just above Helcnsville, and down river j to mouth; thonce by coastline round to Green Ifay, Manukau Harbour; thence one mile X."M.E. to New Windsor Road; thence half a mile X.E. to Richardson Road, along the latter for three-quarters of a mile N.W.; thence across country to point . near eastern end of Vincent Road; thence 'by Easton Road, Taumata Road, Vowl&s Avenue, Coyle .Street, and new Edendale Road to Kingsland Station; thence by Xew Xorth Road (across lots) Livingstone Street, Warwick Street, and Great North Road to foot of Cardi- < gan Street; thence -across country to 1 head of Motion's Creek. 1
