TECHNICAL COLDTJGE SPORTS. AXXT7AT, MEETING. ■The annual sports meeting of the Socldon ■Memorial Technical College boys was held this afternoon on the Domain before a pood crowd of spectators. The meeting went with a swing, there being 320 individual i competitors and over CO events. The committee, Messrs. Gane, Armstrong MiHer Wallace, Morgan, ana Xlcliolls, are to he congratulated upon their arrangements Mr. C. H. J-Ilckson was official, and Messrs. W. B. Stewart and A. E. Dews were timekeepers. Before the middle of the afternoon three records were broken. W B Tanner cut ont the 220 yds under 14 in 20s, a second and one-fifth below the record established by E. J. Armstrong two years ago. N. H. Smith, in the 440yrts ehanipioni ship, under 15 years, ran it out in lm 10 l-ss, breaking the previons record by oneIfifth of a second; and the 440 yds championship, under Iβ years, E. Arjnstronj: ran in lm 11-53, knocking a second off L. S E. Mills , record. Results are:— Slow Bicycle Race.—Bryson 1, Wolfgrain •i. MeGaushan 3. Tticyele Race (Open). 440yds.—Hanon 1, Wilson 2.
