PRINTERS' STRIKE THREAT.

NEW YORK, September 16. The Publishers' Association has decided to suspend the publication of 125 periodicals, some of them of national circulation, if the Printers' Union docs not reduce its demands for a 44-hour week, and a 14 dollars weekly increase of wages for individual printers.
