A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
A COMIXG COXFEREXCE. At a recent meeting of the executive of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association a letter was received from the Waikato and Franklin Association, asking for a conference to be held in Auckland of the different A. and P. Associations. The executive decided to arrange for the holding of the conference on the 26th September. The president (Mr. J. Massey), anel Messrs. Luxford and Eutherford were appointed delegates to the conference. The president moved a vote of condolence with the family of the late Mr. Beck, and several members spoke appreciatively of the late member's work. The chief stewards of the various departments were elected, and other routine business transacted.
