WORKINGMEN'S CLUB.
ASEED TO REINSTATE THE EXPELLED MEN. POSSIBLY A WRIT. Information reached the "Auckland Star"' to-day that further interesting developments may l>e expected in connection with tlie recent lively meeting at the Auckland Working Men's Club, when the storm that centred round the demand for the upholding of the special inquiry committee's report burst. On Ausost IS certain members prominent in the agitation were expelled, and. according to the "Star" information, the club has received a legal ultimatum to reinstate the expelled members. It is further stated that the possibility of a writ being served in the event of refusal has been freely discussed. Holding that it has full powers of expulsion, the committee, it is stated, has declined to take the course suggested. Meantime, the ofn>;3b of the club decline to make any statement about the position. t
