ILLEGAL BETTING.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. John Ross pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to two charges of betting on licensed premises. Tlie offences were committed in Grand National week. Accused was fined £25, in default one month on each charge, the sentences being cumulative.
