PEDIGREE STOCK SALES.
RECORD PRICES OBTAINED. A record cattle sale was held of Mr. C. ('. Bucklands pedigree Friesian cattle at Cambridge yesterday. Exceptionally good prices were realised throughout the sale, the most striking instances being when a number of calves a few days old brought a hundred guineas each; two milk record cows were sold for 370 gns apiece to a South Australian breeder. Monovale Madeline Caxton, a champion milker, attracted a bid of 415 gns from an Australian buyer.
