SOLDIERS' GRATUITY.
PRIME MINISTER'S REPLY. CONSIDERED IN" DUE COURSE. On Monday Inst telegrams were dispatched by Mr. A. E. Glover, -M.P., to tho Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, and Sir .lames Allen, asking for information in connection with the latest developments of the payment of the soldiers' gratuity. This morning Mr. Glover received a reply from Mr. MaSßey acknowledging receipt of his telegram, and stating that the matter was receiving urgent consideration, and that an announcement would be made in due course.
