Dalgety and Co. we held our spring horse fair at Whangarei on Thursday, the 7th instant. There were 100 horses of all classes yarded, mostly hacks and harness sorts, nnd nearly all the lots changed hands at satisfactory prices. Ridding was spirited and competition keen from the start. Medium droughts brought from £13 lo £2.">. backs and harness horses from £10 to £21 10/. ponies £2 to £10 10.', weedy sorts 10/ upwards, - .
