WAIIII GRAND JUNCTION. (By Telegraph.—Owu Correspondent) WAIHI. this day. The management of the Waihi Grand Junction Gold Company has decided to carry out an important development scheme in connection with the company's west nnd south properties, whore two shafts had been sunk in the early days of mining in Waihi. The operations then carried out proved the existence of a definite ore body, but work was abandoned because operations at tho eastern and main property claimed the attention of all available workers. It is now the intention of the company to repair the old shafts, instal machinery, etc., and then determine methods to be adopted for future devlopment operations. This portion of tho Waihi field remains practically unexplored, ami these projected operations cuiiscu,uent-ly are of great importance,
