; Another sharp ri=e took place yesterday on. 'Change in tile price of p. am i 0. deferred stock. The Jast sale was at £500, but at the late call yesterday as high ac £52S was paid. At the noon call to-day there were still 'buyers at £520, and sellers were willing to take £530. Wilsons (X.Z.) Cement" sold yesterday afternoon at IG/4. Bunk and insurance stock were all wanted to-day at late rates ; but in Coal shares the only inquiry was for Tauplris. Hud-dart-Parker Pteam firmed to buyers at £2 6/6, and llilne and Choyce could be placed at £1 5/6. Kauri Timber shares had buyers at £1 1.3/ for paid up, and 15/6 for contributing issue.
