! SETTLEMENT REPORTED. I FIUME TO BE FREE. ROME, August 10. The "P ipolo Romano" states that a : settlement of the Adriatic and other Italian neace problems has been reached. Italy agrees that Fiume. Zara, and Sebenica shall be free cities, and that the : port of Fiume shall be infra-nationalised. Italy also abandons all claim to the Dodecanese nnd Smyrna. Italy in re- ; turn shall receive Aid in. Konia, Adelia, : and a triangle of Asia Minor, including the Meander Valley.— (A. and N.Z.)
