There are about 800 acres at present fit for dairying, with! three factories in easy distance. j The adjoining land has been selling I at high figures, being amongst the most] productive on the plains. The estate! will ultimately comfortably carry forty families. The local Chamber of Commerce had several interviews with the Minister of Lands, and there as been correspondence for over two years. Lat-I terly the Borough Council and Repatria-j tion Committee also brought pressure toj hear for the acquisition of the block. !
