BOLSHEVIKS IN ONEGA.
RAIDS IN MURMANIA. (Received 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, August 7A War Office official message says that the Bolsheviks strongly hold Onega, on the White Sea, but were inactive in the neighbourhood. Successful British Taids were carried out on the Murmusk railway front.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) A Bolehevik wireless message states that after 16 hours of fierce fighting in the streets of Onega, on the White Sea, the allied troops re-embarked under cover of a hurricane of fire from warships, ■which moved northwards. The Bolshevik artillery set fire to one warship (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
