FOOD FOR STRIKERS.
FISHING FLEET ORGANISED. B-lEN SENT RABBIT-TRAPPING. ANOTHER SUMMONS ISSUES. (Received 11.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Seamen's Union has decided to organise a fleet of fishing vessels to work on a co-operative basis for the benefit of the union. Two vessels have already been purchased. The union has also resolved to send men into the country rabbit-trap-ping, in order to augment food stocks. A summons has been issued against Mr. Le Cornu, of Melbourne, president of the Seamen's Federation, for a breach of the Arbitration Act.— (A. and N.Z.)
