THE HINDU'S DEFENCE.
(To the Editor.-, Sir, —I shall be much grateful to you if you 'kindly publish the following:— Hindu immigrants 'believe that they have a good field in New. Zealand, but they find their fault -when they arrive here. Many Hindus are quite ignorant of language and the ways; still they don't mind to mortgage their Jiouees for passage to Dominion. There are many of them, roaming here and there without jobs, although some of them are willing to go 'back to India, but they can't get passage. It i≤ absolutely necessary to have a good English knowledge or absolute stoppage for uneducated men.—l am, etc., INDIANA.
