POLITICAL PARTIES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —There are some stirrings of life in the body politic, and change seems to be the keynote—change for the better. The idea of a Moderate Labour party, credited to the Member for Wanganui, should commend itself to all who wish to see the existing wrongs righted. The old etories and shibboleths, and most of the old members are doomed, but we need to be careful what we put in their places— anarchy, sedition, or constitutional government". The so-called Labour .leaders do not represent organised Labour in this country, neither do they represent—we will not call him the returned soldier, but the citizen who has been away fighting to make the country safe. These arc the men than whom no one has a greater right to govern the land they have bled for, and a coalition of Labour Unioniste and the members of the Expeditionary Force should make up a party that would stand firmly at the election for progressive, and sound government.—l am, etc., LABOURER.
