PRIMARY SCHOOL MATCHES POSTPONED. The! usual weekly meeting of the Auckland Rugby Union Executive was held last night Mr. N. R. Jones presiding. The committee discussed a request from Whangarei for a. vlstt from an Auckland representative team, and it was eventually decided to Bend a B team to' when arrangements could be made. The matter of sending a team .to play the FVanklin Union was deferred, pending the allocation of dates for. representative games, whfcch will probably include a third Match against Thames. 'The resignation of Mr. W. J. Chevls from the Junior Advisory Committee was received. In order to permit of the primary schools' players witnessing the college games at the Domain on Saturday, all primary school fixtures for that date were postponed, and It was decided to admit schools' players free on production of passes signed by the school delegate.. • ■ . Wetherilt (president), was appointed the association's delegate to attend a conference of New Zealand referees at Wellington on September 1. The Victoria College team intended to arrive this morning, and leave for Wellington again this evening, but the ferry steamer -Mararoa was lnte in arriving at Lyttelton to-day and the vteltlng. players were affected by the roughness of the trip.
