•——- Mails will close at the Chief Post Office Auckland, as follows:— THIS DAY. Raukokore. Te Kaha. and Cape Runaway (via Opotikii, at 5.3U p.m. J Tanranga, Te Puke. V.hakatane, Opotiki etc. (only express transit parcels? for offices beyond Matata). at 0.30 p m Whangarei, Hikurangi, Russell. Kawakawa etc., at D.30 p.m. Leigh, Kawau, Mangawai. etc., at 7.43 p.m. FRIDAY. July IS. Waiwera. Warkworth, etc, at 4 a.m. ' Whangaparaoa, Taiaotea. Silverdale. etc.. at 4 a.m. Waikopua, etc.. at 4 a.m. New Plymouth aud Soutlioru Offices (also special letter mail), at 12.30 p.m.: late fee 1.30 p.m. Awaroa. Cowes, Coromandel, Whitianca, Kuaotunu, etc., at 12.45 p.m. Thames, Paeroa. Karamiahake. Waikino. Waihi. Te Aroha, etc. at :'.-4.> p.m. Whangarei Heads, Whangarei. Hikurangi, Russell. Ohaeawai, Mangonui, etc., at 7.45 p.m.' PEACE CELEBRATIONS. •HOLIDAY ATTENDANCE. The following hours of attendance will be observed at the Chief Post Office: — On FRIDAY, the ISth lust., a delivery of town letters (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the counter, in the Postmen's Branch, from 7.30 to 5.30 p.m. On SATURDAY, the l!>th inst., the Chief Post Oliie-e will he closed in all branches, and no delivery will be made by postmen. Mails usually dispatched after S a.m. will be closed at that hour. Suburban receiving "Doses will be cleared at 0 a.m. On MONDAY, the 21st inst.. the Chief Post Office will be open to the public in all branches from '.) to 10 a.m., and one complete delivery will be made by postmen in city and suburbs. •Mails wiil be dispatched as usual up to S a.m.. and those usually closing later will close at that honr.
