ESCAPE OF A PRISONER.
(By Telegraph.—tPress Association.) WELLIXCTOX, Monday. Lawrence John Maloney, a prisoner undergoing a term of detention fur breaking and entering, escaped this afternoon. Maloney was taken from the Terrace Prison to the public hospital recently for treatment, and was to have been taken back to goal to-day, but effected his escape.
