HAWKE'S BAY SCHEME. CONFERENCE EVENLY DIVIDED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. At a conference of local bodies called by the Hawke's Bay County Council to discuss the formation of a Hydro-electric Hoard to carry out the Waikaremoana scheme, voting for and against the proposal was even, and the conference adjourned without coming to a decision.
